What People Are Saying About Lazy A Campground

“Very beautiful and peaceful atmosphere! Owners are very kind and always attentive and accessible to your needs. Definitely recommend this campground to anyone looking for a clean, family oriented experience and our group is looking forward to returning in the future! :)” – Cheryl, Google Review

“It is a great camp ground that has been in the same family for generations. It used to be used as a farm. They have kept the farm buildings, but they have turned the barn into an area with picnic tables and another outbuilding was made into a bath house. The bath house also had two showers. Everything in the bath house looks new. You can tube from the bridge upstream from the campground to the campground in about 2 hours. You can go from the campground to the next bridge in about 4 hours. Even though it is an isolated campground, it is full on holiday weekends. The sites are a little close together for my liking, but I would go back on of days. They do allow generators which is good for RVs and bad for tent campers.” – David, Google Review

“This was a very nice KOA. We were by the Civil War trench. All the spots along the trench seem to have shade. There was construction going on by the store and front part of the campground. Didn’t see it as a problem. They are working hard to be ready for summer and we are thankful to see them putting in the hard work to get it ready and improve it each year. They have so many functions for the kids. A must go in the summer if you have kids. The game room reminds me of the 70’s – 80’s game rooms. Pool area is nice and they have live music on Saturday when we were there. Will be going back” – Sean, Google Review

“Awesome KOA! Strong Wi-Fi, good water pressure, large pull through sites, properly located waste water drains. Friends visited my campsite. They were amazed by all the amenities of this Campground. We called Leathermans and they were great! Someone came out to the gate when we got there to let us in and got us checked in and to our site quickly. The entire staff was very helpful and pleasant. What People Are Saying About Cacapon Hideaway Campground

“Went camping this weekend. They have 6 sites and are growing. The sites are primative. The guy, may have been the owner, met us and was very friendly. He showed us the sites personally and we chose. A whopping $15/night plus tax…there was a firepit and a wash station and porta-potty. In the woods, secluded. The leaves were goregeous. We slept well, and it’s nearby to Berkeley Springs, which we went into for the evening.” – hopefulcitydude, TripAdvisor Review

“My family visited this campground the day after a big storm so we had the place to ourselves, which probably added to the magical quality of the campground. The sites are large and the setting is breathtaking. There is a playground, a horseshoe area and a badminton net. Little touches like bird feeders are found throughout the campground. It is a primitive campground, there is no running water, only port-a-potties and hand washing water, however, this really only adds to the experience. Just be sure to bring plenty of drinking and cooking water with you. The owner was very friendly and delivered wood right to our site.” – Cynthiaand, Google Review
